Eating out on Hare/Heir Island


Celebrating over 25 years of living and working on Hare/Heir Island, serving good food at a reasonable price in a traditional island cottage.

DINNER (15 June to 15 September)
Island Cottage RestaurantDinner from 7.45pm. The restaurant closes at 11.15pm. Advance reservations are necessary. Please phone to make a booking.

Open Wednesday to Saturday.
Sunday: reserved for private dinner bookings for minimum groups of 16 to 22 people.

Menu
Set menu, consists of a starter, home-made brown bread, main course,  cheese, dessert and filter coffee. We are unable to accommodate any change to the menu. (sample menus)

Wine Licence
A small selection of red and white wines which are chosen for their quality and good value.

Booking
Dinner bookings taken from 1st May. A deposit of €20 per person is required to book a table.

LUNCH (April, May & June)

Late lunch Saturday & Sunday
New this year we are offering a very reasonably priced no choice lunch consisting of a starter, main course and dessert. There will be time to visit Island Cottage gallery and explore the island after lunch.

Price: €20 per person, wine extra. Booking essential.

Lunch Ferry
Daily scheduled service. Depart Cunnamore Pier 2pm. Return 3.55pm or 5.55pm.
